Thie week's podcast is up, and puts a wrap on my weekend of jumping between the MAAC and Big East Tournaments.
First, I sat with Danielle Donehew the Associate Commissioner for Women’s Basketball for the Big East Conference. We talked about the season, the Big East tournament including the off the court activities like the All-American Red Heads, and even future sites.
Brian Giorgis has won SEVEN consecutive automiatic bids for the MAAC. He's had the last five conference players of the year and has been coach of the year three of five years. We talked about his team and their run through the MAAC, culminating in a championship win over Fairfield.
After the celebrating was over on Tuesday night, I had a one on one chat with Kelly Faris. We talked about the team, the pressure on her to score, her game in general, and more. Always good stuff with Kelly!
