I was considering DirecTV, but they had so many add ons (an extra $10 per month if you want your DVR to actually record shows) that I looked into Dish. they are actually less expensive for most plans, and don't have all the add ons that DirecTV has. Also, you can lock your pricing in for 3 years instead of 1 year with DirecTV. Both have a 2 year contract, but better to have pricing locked in for 3 years IMHO...

Anyhoo it's funny that you asked that just as I'm checking with Dish. They have NESN, but apparently not SNY...

Yeah, that's the downside of Dish (speaking as another Dish subscriber). It's post-game ESPN3 replays for me, since I'm also in the SNY blackout zone. I'm used to it, but oh well.
