Dish and SNY

Anyone living NOT in the NY metropolitan area - I have dish and am being told even if I get their premium sports package, it does NOT include SNY because I live in California. Can anyone else confirm this? I ended up talking to some guy in India and am not 100% sure - want to confirm before I switch back to ATT Uverse. Thanks...

Last I knew, it had nothing to do with you being in Cali - Dish simply doesn't carry SNY. Not sure if that's changed recently or not.

This. Dish doesn't carry SNY or YES, so it's essentially useless to any sports fan in the NY area.

Looks like it's available with DirectTv when you get their sports package at $12.99 mo
