That front end of one and one killed Fairfield's momentum. On neutral court this could've been another UCF. This team looked scared and tentative until the Boatright 3 pointer with a minute left.

Not so sure about scared - disinterested was my take? Maybe that Christmas holiday spirit arrived one half too early.

The game changed after the screaming fit JC directed at SN after the pass to AD and the charge. SN stopped running the team. RB was having a miserable game and showed his freshman inexperience. He couldn't take over the play making when SN decided he wasn't going to get embarrassed by JC again.

All of the above has truth, but when it came to crunch time, Ryan has ice water in his veins. That 3 pointer was "onions" and a back-breaker. I thought then when it went down that if he had played against UCF, we'd be 11 and 0!
