Did You Know there is a SEC/AAC Challenge?

I didn't until I looked up Miss St schedule. http://www.secsports.com/article/13772042/sec-aac-women-basketball-challenge-info-released

This challenge only involves two teams from each conference. South Florida and Central Florida are the AAC Teams. Miss St and Florida are the SEC Teams.

Hopefully in future years, more teams will be involved? Wonder how many SEC Teams would be willing to play UConn?

If South Florida could beat one or both of Baylor and Miss St it would really help their ranking (and seeding).

This is a year long multi-sport, multi-school competition that is sponsored by someone. It involves all the big conferences at least and I have no idea how they select which games are included. I don't know that it has really taken off in anyone's mind, and am not really sure why it was created.

Whenever I run across them while flipping through games on Saturdays, Alabama does appear SEC-challenged and Wake Forest ACC-challenged. Maybe they should play each other.
