Is the Block "C" copyrighted by UConn or Nike? Is that high school paying for the privilege of its use? If the University could go after the Morgan School a few years ago for the similar looking Husky, I foresee a law suit against the use of the Block "C" on an off color helmet.

I want our helmets back...I'd say donate the current ones but I'm afraid we'd have to pay somebody to take them off our hands to dispose of them properly.

The peewee footballers in Cambridge, MA wear block C helmets in black, white, and silver. Big kids use the Atlanta Falcons logo. I walk by the field everyday on the way to work.

Block C = Boring

Yes boring, like Penn St or Michigan or in the NFL Dallas or Green Bay....The only tradition we had going at the time and Warde / Susie along with the push from Nike decided clown suits were the new IT. Warde admitted at the time it was 30% for 70% against while still defending the mistake. Thought the Creature Feature theme would put fear in the other team.
I hope they bring back the Block C when they finaly wake up and realize making the other team laugh at our helmets only happens before and after the game. No advantage during the contest at all...

The FB teams play was mostly boring last year - the block C is Classic.
