Did I see this correctly?

I had the Sox-Yanks game on yesterday afternoon while doing some things around the house. In front of the seats along the 3b line I thought I saw an ACC banner for "Upstate NY's college team from November-January." Not surprising, they've had signage at Yankee Stadium for a while. In front of the seats on the 1b side though, I thought I saw a banner for RU, showing the logos of all the B1G programs and wording to the affect of "A New Tradition".

If that's the case, I'd like to propose a big sign elsewhere in the park with a husky logo surrounded by final four logos that says "a continuing tradition."

Yup, Syracuse hangs banners in baseball stadiums and make T-shirts for 25-0 starts. While UCONN hangs National Championship banners in Gampel and makes T-shirts for 6-0 finishes.

The B1G just announced a June 1st opening date for their new satellite office in NYC. Look for more B1G advertising in NYC and beyond. Hopefully they'll quickly realize that they need UConn in order to truly capitalize on the NYC market because RU doesn't deliver it.

I want to see somebody hang a UCONN something over that stupid Syracuse ad at Yankee Stadium. Would be nice to see it properly read UCONN: New Yorks College Team for our football game with Army.

That sign comes off as incredibly desperate. You shouldn't need to put up a sign reminding people that your team is their favorite.

Through January they're superstars. Fade a little in February. Come March, they're gone.
