Cochran at 245lbs in January. I can only imagine how fat and out of shape the entire team was when Diaco showed up for his first team meeting and they had some kind of weigh in and measurements for the spring. I know it's been said a million times, but really - wow.

There are a lot of variables into what the 2014 season will bring, not in any particular order, in that Diaco's first game as a head coach comes in 11 days, and there will be a learning curve, and that none of us have any idea if any of the players we've recruited in the past 4 years, are really any fast, or any good. I can't wait to see.

By what we're being told publicly so far - is that the fundamental foundations of a successful football program are in - and that's strength, conditioning, and teamwork.

Next Friday can't come fast enough for me!
