Yes, that is kinda misleading.

Are they marked down for clearance?

Yes, same here; I've bought both official and non-official ones leaving the men's championship game. Iirc there is a video somewhere of the Duke National Championship t-shirts being put out in '99, and then being taken away very quickly. There are some people in some third world country wearing those right now, along with the folks wearing the North Carolina national champion tees. It’s common practice to make tees for both teams in a championship game so they can sell them right away. Ive been to Final Fours and have been able to get a UConn NC tee as I was leaving.
Putting them on the web site is a big oopsie though.

Seems like some seriously bad mojo.I kind of feel like buying one as a collectible.
Nah, the 2022 season is over. In any event the link seems dead.Seems like some seriously bad mojo.

Tony’s unabashed enthusiasm is good for mojo. Since Auriemma has 999 more wins than losses, Tony is right far more often than he’s wrong.Mojo has been known to carry over for years.
Like when EDD committed to UCONN, @Tonyc predicted 195-0. EDD never really arrived, and we only went 90-0, and only won 2 NCs. Tragic.
There's a company in CT that makes a bunch of those shirts. They've interviewed the owner before, and basically they have everything ready to go to make the shirts, but wait until the final buzzer, whistle, etc. before pressing the button to start cranking them out. Apparently they work round the clock when there's a championship at least until enough shirts get made.i've always wondered how they got those NC shirts made so quickly..........
Yes, classicpins.com was selling a UCONN National Championship pin until I e-mailed them about trying to buy a FF pin and by the way South Carolina wonn the Championship not UCONN!

Just about the to say the same thing! I remember going to the Philippines back in the 90s and saw some kids wearing San Diego Chargers Super Bowl Champions t-shirts and Orlando Magic Champions. There are some people in some third world country wearing those right now, along with the folks wearing the North Carolina national champion tees. Brother and I were just discussing the value of his unopened 6 pack of Billy Beer.I kind of feel like buying one as a collectible.
Lots of those in 3rd world countries...Just about the to say the same thing! I remember going to the Philippines back in the 90s and saw some kids wearing San Diego Chargers Super Bowl Champions t-shirts and Orlando Magic Champions.
By now the value curve on 55 year old beer has probably begun to flatten.Brother and I were just discussing the value of his unopened 6 pack of Billy Beer.
