Not sure that even Geno himself could tell you about all the facets about what he wanted from the benching act, because he has admitted that sometimes he just goes on intuition for what he does, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, a la FF in 2001. Although in general he doesn't put that much stock in any game before the Tourney except to use it as an assessment and learning tool, I'm guessing that last night's game was important to him as kind of a reminder to the team about how they can play against a top team late(r) in the season, and what he expects from them for especially the last four games of the Tourney. I think all teams need a little refresher memory about playing at the top of their game against the best teams, and the Huskies certainly got their memories refreshed last night.Meyers- I love your posts, your one of my fav's on the BY- but I think your as wrong on this one as you think I am!
