Didn't see any quotes or anything this time around from the writers after the game. Was it because of the rainstorm? I'm sure everybody wanted to get the heck out of dodge after Cincy laid the wood on us...

He did. Diaco went back to last year's mantra. "I know people watching at home didn't notice, but there were some positives to take away from this game that will add to the foundation already in place. I'm talking about effort and not quitting and fighting to the end. We are still in the beginning of this - we are new."

Giving up over 1,000 yards in the last 2 games and not scoring points will do that to you... i.e. look for things that aren't obviously there..

I'm not buying this. Fighting hard with improper rules of engagement from the coaches-- offensive play calls and defensive schemes--is not very productive. Effort needs to be combined with a smart strategy to reach the desired goal. While our players are fighting hard, our football strategy has been keenly observed and found wanting.

He was interviewed. However, like our safeties he was 20+ yards back from the line where the reporter was and you couldn't see him in the picture until the interviewer had asked a dozen questions.
