Let's crucify him, to hell with that freedom of religion thing.

Ah, our resident Constitutional scholar has weighed in. How about you sit this one out?

(a) Nobody has crucified Ollie, or even said anything critical of him.

(b) He's not the dude that's going to be trying to convert people or forcing them to read the Bible, I don't think. I think he takes his own faith tremendously seriously and uses it to inform the way he lives his life and the way he treats others. Not so bad a thing.

^^ He may not be preaching to his players (or recruits) but I assure you their parent(s) see the sermon.

I always thought Jim Calhoun is Jesus resurrected

Maybe that's who he's referring to:rolleyes:

If you can't see the difference between that quote and what Ernest Jones said, you're beyond helping.
Agreed. I view both as benign in intention. Jones was just a bit inelegant for northeastern sensibilities.

Still, I'm waiting for that same woman to send another email to the Courant.

I think Coach Ollie holds the two greatest JCs in the highest regard. the Lord our Saviour and Jim Calhoun the program saviour!!!

Oh my God, I thought this thread was going to be about the C-word that rhymes with Runt.

My mind = gutter.
As in: Emmert? Why would I shake hands with that little....
