Unless I'm brain damaged, which is highly possible, I don't see a single thread on the game tonight vs. UCF. Should be a real barnburner (NOT)...

I would expect about 23 minutes for Mo and Stewie, and lots of PT for KLS, Napheesa, Saniya and Natalie. Hopefully at least 15 minutes for Courtney too.

It should be a good game we are only a 60 point favorite. I have never seen a line that big before.

Geno is a such nice guy he will not let a 60 pts blow out happen.

You're not brain-damaged, eric: there's a game tonight. The question is, outside of a very few faithful posters on this board, where have all the UConn fans gone?

It's officially a game
In reality its a scrimmage
83-27 after 3

A few short of the 60-point line.

Not sure I would call this exactly a game - more like an official practice.

Really a boring game to watch. Do games like this attract great high-schoolers or point them in a different direction? IMO it's way past time to join a stronger conference.

Before someone with bigger feet jumps on ya, Bliss, let me direct your attention to the "Conference Realignment Board" feature on the BY menu. There's literally a couple a' years worth of material that you can go through on the "join a stronger conference" subject. Suffice it to say, I think you'll find that support here for your belief that "it's way past time to join a stronger conference" approaches Ivory Snow levels. The problem, of course, is somebody's gotta invite you to the Promised Land. Each Power conference has its' big fish, little fish, conference agendas, individual school agendas, old grudges, new grudges, and this toxic mix is often secondary to the financial factors.

Would that it were so simple and easy to just decide that it's way past time.

Pinot addressed your last statement. And i take a shot at the first part. To a large degree recruits play these kinds of games most weeks in their HS season - they are on great teams, or they make their teams great, and in the regular HS season their dominate their local competition the same way that Uconn dominates most of their competition. And to a basketball junky considering committing to a school, watching how a team operates, plays hard regardless of score, plays a pretty beautiful version of the game, and interacts among themselves and with the coaches, is pretty fascinating and I doubt boring. Visions of getting great passes while they post up down low, or return passes as they spot up for open threes is part of the recruit's dreaming - as opposed to being physically abused and beaten to a pulp while they battle to get position, only to have their selfish PG throw up a prayer from three, or watching their center fumble a perfect pass out of bounds while they are wide open for the return pass, which is part of their nightmare!
So yes - playing beautiful basketball and having fun is not a bad recruiting tool.

Okay, thanks. My newbieism doesn't allow me to navigate all that well.

No problem - and a valid question and statement in your earlier post - the conference stuff weighs heavily on most Uconn fans' minds - there is no easy solution and the some version of the 'Get me out of here!' shout has been posted by most people on all the Uconn boards. Hopefully the prayer/plea gets answered sometime soon.

(But just as an aside - we have made a lot of teams from P5 conferences look completely silly, we are that good - LSU, OSU, Nebraska, KSU, and FSU looked pretty helpless this year - last year TX, Vanderbilt, Depaul, UCLA, Duke, Rutgers, Maryland, and even SC couldn't keep it close.)
