Did anybody else see the highway robbery in the WVU-Cuse game?

Six seconds left, Cuse up by two, and there was about the most obvious goaltending call you will ever see, and it went uncalled. It was one of those "everybody in the whole f'in building knows it's a goaltending but somehow the three officials don't" calls. That wasn't the only call that went Cuse's way down the stretch either...couple that with the way UConn got robbed in the Dome a couple years ago, and I think it's safe to put Cues right behind Duke and Kentucky in the "You can add 5-10 points to the scoreboard every time we play at home simply because of the refs" club.

Suprisingly bad showing by the Orange at home and it took some highway robbery to ice it...

Just saw the replay on espn now. Wow, just an awful no call. Those refs need to be reprimanded.

I thought the Oriakhi out of bounds call was bad against WVU, but they still would have had to make the shot in that case. In this one, it was worse because the game would have been tied (ie the shot was made) though it still would have been Cuse ball with a chance to win with about 6 seconds left.

Both were horrid calls, but they still might have lost both games (of course they should have had that chance).

With Melo out the Cuse seem to have lost their ways on the boards. It will hurt them the longer he is out.

No different than UConn vs. Arizona. It was a missed call and WV and it's fans have a right to be upset about the miss, but these things happen. It isn't anything as egregious as the St. Johns fiasco last season.

UConn-Arizona? I don't remember any blatant missed calls in that game...please refresh my memory. 90% of missed calls are forgiveable, but then there are the other 10% that makes you think the ref should lose their pay for the game. That was one of those calls. It was pretty obvious to anyone watchng the game that it was a goaltend. Also, the last ten minutes of the game were officiated pretty blatantly in Cuse's favor. I would have been irate if it was UConn.

Several years ago the game played at Gampel and not last season. Sorry about the confusion.

in the WVU game it evened out. Bazz was rapped at half court with 60 seconds and there was no call.
