Dick Vitale is part of the fabric of college basketball. Think of all the games that he has called, the players and coaches that he has met, and the positive influence he has had through his philanthropic endeavors. He was great in his day and continued to use his celebrity and fame for the greater good. A pretty great testament when you think about it. I hope he is healthy enough to enjoy March madness because I am certain it is his favorite time of the year.
