So I was rereading the Courant's list of Big East FOY and saw this list:

My question is this: if Diana didn't win it her freshman year, WHO did?

I believe it was Rebecca Brunson, of Georgetown IIRC.

Brunson has been a stud for a long time. I saw her in person at G'town her soph year. She had a little trouble scoring, and her team lost by 40 or so. But she was very physically imposing.

We did pretty well when we had the guys who had 3 in a row in 2006-08.

KML should be on that list. So with BStew we are going for the trifecta again!

Yes, I think this was the list published as a response to KML's winning-- or perhaps in anticipation of her winning.

Just about the only thing Diana didn't win... hard to believe now, although the numbers certainly favored Brunson that year. But then again, Diana didn't have to do that much that year, having an entire WNBA team starting in front of her
