That to me will be the key to the entire season...improved OL play will allow the program to continue to improve..another season of what we saw last season will be pretty disappointing in my book.I think we will see a lot more variation on offense this year. At the end of the day, if you can't block you can't do anything. Hopefully we see an improved line that gives us enough time to throw off of play-action.
Great point, I noticed that as well . These metrics are highly correlated to winning, and he is methodically focusing on the areas with the greatest room for improvement. Correcting just a few of these crucial weaknesses should pay great dividends to the offense as a whole.Diaco appears to be very analytically driven, and picked out areas of focus for improvement that have high correlations with winning (Lower turnover ratio, time of possession, etc,). He seems to be pretty methodical actually. Very excited for another season. Seems like a long way away.
