I missed it but from his site it looks like he gets the audio up pretty fast, excited to listen to it: http://jimrome.com/audio/1691-the-jim-rome-show/
Looking forward to hearing what he has to say at the basketball game tonight. Whatever it is, I'm betting UCONN goes on a 10-0 run following it and the crowd loses their collective minds.
He's going to do big things when he's in front of recruits. He's got the Kevin Ollie likability factor. They accomplish it in very different ways but you can't listen to either of them and not immediately like them.Diaco even got Jim Rome fired up! LOL HCBD's personality is hard not to like.

Have no clue who he is but:

@jimrome I'm a 30 year old who would jump on a plane in a heartbeat to go fill up water bottles for UConn football now. Amazing man
He was an old man by the time UCONN hired him and just forgot how to coach college kids and recognize which kids had talent, he lost the flexibility with these kids, and the college game had changed since his days at Cuse.I really don't think P intentionally sunk the program. He operated on an outdated model of coaching that didn't produce. It doesn't make him a bad man. What Randy did on the other hand was intentional. He turned out to be a huge phony.
I agree with shutting down the Old Man Jokes. If they want to dump on PGDL for their lack of coaching prowess and taking the money and run fine but the Old Man jokes hit too close to home with a lot of us baby boomers.Actually what I said was the personal old man jokes were unbecoming. I thought you of all people would agree with me.
No doubt Coach D is a great guy and a great motivator. Just seems like I keep hearing the same stories over and over, like he's got a script. Talk of the millions of people in so many square miles of campus, how great our math and science departments are.... He was on a national radio show, no mention of our great facilities and other selling points for student athletes? Sell our program when you can Bob, market to potential recruits and the national audience. I'm psyched and excited about the future of UConn football, just hope he can coach as good a game as he can talk.
Yeah...I can flip it around now! lol^^^ Debbie downer... i can see why you still have your flag upside down, but I can tell you we've been saved! lol
haha... just busting balls. I agree that he should sell, sell, sell at every opportunity he gets, but I think he did enough on the Jim Rome show to win over some people.Yeah...I can flip it around now! lol
Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, just think he missed an opportunity to sell UConn nation wide. I agree the guy is going to be good. Everyone loves him including me. But mix some more selling points in the sermon.
