Not that they are 100%, but Jerry Meyer, who is one of the inside guys of recruiting has Derrick Jone's going to UCONN. One other guy picked us as well.

I hope he is right, this guy has hops not seen around here since Sticks. If he learns to play he will be nasty.

I think Syracuse is out of scholarships at the moment with the 4 commits they already have. I'm not sure if they expect any of their players to jump early to the NBA next year, though. I've been trying to ask around and find out how much the three schools that DJ lists (UK, SU, & UL) are actually involved with his recruitment.

Syracuse has 4 scholarships to offer and already have their 4 commits. If we were to speculate that someone leaves early, say Chris McCullough, that scholarship probably will go to Thomas Bryant. If Syracuse wanted Derrick Jones, they would already have him.

I have to admit I was thinking Cuse all along for this kid but we do seem to be the frontrunners now. He may be the best athlete in the class and his game is improving every day. If we want him I think we're best served locking him up soon.

If Kansas misses on Jaylen Brown or uk doesn't land Gill-Caesar then Jones and Brandon Ingram shoot straight to the top of their lists.

This is a good sign that the guys on 24-7 are changing their picks in close succession to one another. With Jesse Govan they all started changing their picks to Georgetown and shortly afterwards he committed. Same thing with Jalen Adams, they started changing their picks to us and you know what happened.
