Same here. She was gracious talking about the Huskies. I had to Google her to verify that she did indeed play for the Lady Vols. 🙂

It is hard to fathom that a 46 point win is just another game, that will be largely forgotten by the weekend. An overwhelming first quarter and the game was over. The second quarter was nap time and the second half was a practice session that gave the bench playing time. I did enjoy the talk about and with Doug. I hope he and Geno were able to get in at least one good meal and drink some wine and have a good long chat.

We win the actual game in the first quarter. Then it becomes a practice. Let's practice throwing the ball into the post. Let's try new combinations. Really not very exciting to watch. The real goal being not to embarrass the other team.

I may be a cult of one but I hate it when the commentators do interviews during the game. Save those till after or during timeouts. I want to keep my attention on the game.

Why is DePaul a "Storied Team"?

That's what one of the announcers/reporters said when she was interviewing Doug Bruno in the middle of the game....She said "two Storied teams"

Has DePaul ever won anything? Just curious.

If I am not mistaken, I think Geno has never lost to DePaul in his 40 years of coaching too.

Now if she said that about Tennessee then I could agree with that.

Nice win. Azzi looked comfortable with her shooting. Sarah looked solid. The 2nd quarter was confusing. Only 13 points. That was odd. Then in the 3rd and 4th, we got it going again.

My favorite moment was when Jana made the baby hook! I didn’t know she had that shot.

Azzi was hot early, then the offense got sluggish in Q2. UConn forced fewer TOs than usual, hence a lower score and coming up short of the point spread. We aren't as good or dynamic without Blanca. I hope she'll be 100% soon. What's the story with KK's hand? We shot 61/50/50. Which of those was not good?

I am not disagreeing wiht you one bit. I just think it funny - we aren't as good or dynamic without one player who at tops usually plays just half a game-- and yet we shoot 61/50/90 with a 3-1 Assist to T/O ratio.
