This was the line up when they went on their run to end the game. That line up will never sniff the court in any sort of meaningful minutes. Annoying they couldn't at least hold it in place, but not concerned about the metrics/run.
Yeah this 5 kinda looked like they were ready to dribble out the clock and the DePaul starting 5 thought otherwise

This game was like the hours at work starting after about 1 where you just had lunch and it’s kind of hard to find the energy to really get into something your boss asked you to work on, and you know it needs to get done but it is also not all that critical, 5 o’clock is just around the corner and tomorrow you have a real project to deal with.

Two strong games from Silas has significantly improved his box score averages. Now at 10.2 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1.8 SPG. Shooting 47.9% FG, 43.8% 3P, 80.4% FT

Braylon has also gotten himself a nice bump. 11.7 PPG, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists. 47.5% FG, 38.7% from three, 90% FTs

Solo still leads the charge at PPG despite the two quiet games. 14.8 PPG, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists. 43.8% FG, 29.9% from three, 85% FTs

You know what? He may just do that. My sense is that Depaul the university is trying to figure out what to do about ATHLETICS and more specifically basketball. If someone makes the right decision on points of emphasis, Depaul could be a real load.

DePaul was knocked out of the Final Four by Indiana State's Larry Bird. They still had a team that was ranked #1 for years after. hey do have some pedigree.

Yes, someone needs to look at then and now and evaluate the differences. Obviously Ray Meyers not walking through the door, but what else is there? In the late 80’s UConn had a Presidents blue ribbon commission on athletics. Reviewed ADept from all angles, particularly with regard to hoops. Implemented many of the recommendations and voilà. They needed to be more focused on football than they were at that time. We still had a faction that viewed Big East move as a mistake. We may have been much further along in football and the whole conference realignment thing.
