Sanogo was great in the first half establishing deep position. We’re so much better as a team when Martin attacks and isn’t passive.
Key takeaway for me: how good did Gaff look. Confident. Active. Took it straight to the rack. NEED that from him and as a guy who struggled heavily this year, just wanted to shout out how good he’s looked recently

Martin and Sanogo terrific. Cole off day but luckily didn't need his usual. Ajax had some nice passing. Polley and Whaley solid in final home games...true blue huskies.

For consistency in the NCAA we need a 3 point shooter. This 20% from 3 will absolutely not work, and I say that with the compliment of all the intangibles we do as a team. Rebounding, defense, blocking and in the paint offense by Sanogo. Also we let them make 10 - 3’s today. One of those 2 things will sink us.

It's not a choice. You can react to both. The first 35 was really good. The team picked up Cole without missing a beat. They played great.

But the last few minutes is something that hasn't been cleaned up all year. It has cost us games. And it came darn close to costing us today.

Do we really practice inbounding the ball when another team is pressing us? If so why do we pass to 6 foot Cole in the corner repeatedly?

My favorite play of the game was at end of first half when Cole was trapped, then with 5 secs left AJax sprints toward Cole to give him an outlet pass, then immediately feeds a dime into the paint for a last second 2.

Say what you will about AJax, but nobody else on this team makes that play. That was total awareness of the situation and the ability to make something happen.

He’s a special player just not a shooting guard. Need our other shooters to step up to make us dangerous.

Hopefully the bad long distance shooting struggle is behind us and we shoot better for the BET; if so, we'll be as tough to beat as Nova and PC.

Akok alone had 3. Not sure who keeps these stats. A tip on a shot is a block.

Watching 2nd half on DVR this morning. Good game from almost everyone but Cole really, who didn’t have his outside shot (but did great work on D). Gaff contributed and was aggressive. Whaley looked to score. Martin attacked, wish he tried more outside, we need that. Jackson was far more aggressive looking to score.

We have found ways to win with 2 of Sanogo, Cole, Martin scoring. But to make a run or beat Nova, we need all 3 to be on or somebody else has to go off. Polley and Hawk aren’t reliable, even if either one might have a big game. Getting 8-10 from Whaley and AJax is critical.

We can’t have this, but a bunch of previous games we were close to 40%, need it
