I don't agree. Depaul is doing everything right at this point. Depaul is playing over their heads. Watch for the shooting% to drop way off in the second half.

Dough Bruno is getting what he wants UConn is playing at their pace instead of their own. This has caused sill turnovers and with DePaul's shooting keeping them in the game. Mass Substitutions by DePaul is allowing them to play at a Frenetic Pace. UConn needs to slow the game down and play at their pace on the offensive end.

They need to have a basketball stat analogous to the stat in golf where they keep track of of how many putt-feet each player has made.

DePaul has made about a mile of shot-feet !

Not a seasoned Husky watcher but from inside the arena seems more like DePaul is just incredibly hot from 3 than UCONN is playing all that poorly.

DePaul would be up double digits on most teams if they produced this kind of performance.

UCONN could play with brass knuckles but as long as Depaul keeps making 35 foot shots they will stay in the game.

I think our guards need to put it on the floor in anticipation of all this trapping and draw some DePaul fouls, get to the line. That negates the pace for one thing and might get a couple of their hot shooters to the bench
