DePaul/Creighton Pause Practice due to COVID

Schedules going to be as messy as 91 on the first ice storm of the year.

That's an underrated tournament Creighton needs to back out of.

Their schedule started off against a solid mid-major team w/ South Dakota State followed by either Utah State or Wichita State. Win or lose from there, they'd play two games between either Memphis, Saint Mary's, Northern Iowa and West Virginia.

It's going to be weird to have a team that went 4-2 in the regular season playing in the Final Four.
I believe they need to play a minimum of 13 games to be considered for the NCAA tourney, but still- I agree, it will be weird!

The 14 day rules simply don't work for basketball when there's 3 games a week and 15 player rosters compared to weekly games with 100 player rosters in football.

Totally agree that if they can't test around this, there's no point in even trying a season when 14 days can wipe out 3-5 games for teams and their opponents.

"Wiping out" isn't the same as rescheduling. The NCAA will allow teams time to reschedule if needed and we've seen examples of this already.

Some great news for DePaul amid their Covid pause:

JFL averaged 19p, 6r, 3a and 2s at Valpo last year. Should start at the 2 alongside Charlie Moore. Five transfers coming in and DePaul is a deep team.
