This is a good, back-and-forth game. Northwestern is a good team that more people should be talking about (amiright @triaddukefan ?). Last year's WNIT finalist, and they returned their best players in Pulliam, Scheid and Wolf.

Kelly Campbell fouls out but NW misses 2 FTs, then DePaul hits a go-ahead bucket with 32 seconds left.

Northwestern tries to set up the game-winner. Only 1 second differential between game and shot clock.

So if someone put Northwestern in the poll, but left out depaul., that wouldnt make much sense right? Not saying that i would do that... just asking.

Uh, you mean after DePaul just beat Northwestern, at Northwestern?

Chante Stonewall with an outstanding performance, 25 points on 11-17 FG in a 2-point win over Northwestern. She also had 27 in the win over Miami.

Sophomore Sonya Morris also had a great game with 22 points on 10-14.

was a great game. DePaul seems to be improving every game.
This was the first of a tough 3-game road stretch for DePaul. Next up they visit Green Bay and Notre Dame.

Could Green Bay be ranked in the top 25 after their win over Syracuse?

I thought their other games were rocky? I don't track them, going by BeK's comment (Rutgers board) on his nightly score post a couple of day's ago - he described them as something in the range of "inconsistent" or "tough to get a handle on". Descriptions of that sort seem to fit a lot of teams in the early slogging this year.

Indeed, a lot of teams. Overtime win over Central Michigan. Win over Missouri. Losses to South Dakota and Marquette. I don't think their body of work is very deserving, but voters tend to be very reactive to the latest result.

Morris was a freshman on the same Incarnate Word Academy team when Napheesa Collier was a senior. She is a good outside shooter.

Dislike buttons are back :)
I find it interesting that you chose to make this observation on the DePaul-Northwestern game thread :)
