Green Bay beat Syracuse in their last game.

I know @Plebe (I think) said this isn’t a Green Bay team of the past;) But I’m still pretty impressed. Not as good as when they had LeClaire and the other player whose name escapes me, but well coached and run their system.
Ha that was actually someone else. Green Bay has probably had better teams, but this team is no softie. Last year they were really ravaged by injuries, a rare year when they lost the Horizon League and missed the NCAA tournament.

Maya Stovall of DePaul went down late in 1Q with what looked to be a serious injury, not sure what happened there but I don't expect to see her again.

Green Bay is bigger and more physical than DePaul and they're already getting DePaul in foul trouble.

For those who don't like Jeff's recent redshirting strategies, I suggest not taking a look at UW GB's roster. They have nine players redshirted.

GB getting a little separation now. Up 9 before the half.

34-25 GB at the half

Wurtz 14 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast

Nine points in such a low scoring affair could be a lot to overcome.

Green Bay really starting to gel, it’s nice to see after all the struggles last year. It’ll be hard to get an at large, but if they win here that’s a nice step forward and it’s looking good so far.

Depaul fighting back 53-53. 9' left in Q4

Lexi Held with the dagger 3 puts DePaul up 7 with 55 seconds to play.

DePaul shot the ball poorly this game, but they compensated with pressure defense (causing 22 turnovers) and crashing the O-boards. They ended up taking 72 shots to only 49 for Green Bay.

One more time for the DePaul haterz!

Well since OSU has beaten DePaul, I'm rooting for them to win as many games as possible this year.

Yup and Doug Bruno isn’t a quality coach...

To be fair, I don't think anyone is saying Bruno isn't a good coach, just not top 5 or best other than Geno.
Actually there are. Go to the Poll “Coaching” thread. Plus the inbox comments I have received

That's what I'm referring to. Posters have brought up his relative lack of post season success. I still don't see anyone saying he's not good, just that he doesn't belong in the conversation among top 5 or so active coaches.

If Bruno consistently had the talent some of these "other" coaches in the poll have to work with each year, Bruno might be the greatest coach of all time?
