Hey NFL fans, wondering your perspective on all the chatter of Sanders possibly going to Dallas? I've not followed his career at Colorado, and with the exception of a lot of players transferring out when he got there, not informed enough to decide if he was a good coach at CU? It seems more of a media driven narrative, as why would an NFL owner go after him? Well, Jones does unorthodox things so there's that. I just don't see a team of pros taking him seriously.

Nope.

He’s a paper tiger. Colorado hasn’t beaten a ranked team under him yet. He’ll be great on Hard Knocks and explaining losses in his presser but he’s not an NFL coach.

It would be interesting if Sanders could command respect of a lockerroom full of NFL players.

Dallas hiring Sanders would be peak Jones.

I don't really know. He certainly knows more football than I do. Does he know football like the real football savants do? I have a hard time believing that. Can he motivate guys? Probably. Would his antics wear thin on veteran players? Probably.

.-.
