Demary out vs. Furman

Do we honestly care if Hurley is transparent about the team’s injuries or not? Really don’t get the issue with it here other than entitled fans whining about ut
You misread my post. I did not make a judgement about if he should be transparent on injuries, just that he’s not transparent. Obviously, he thinks that’s an advantage since the other team, in theory, needs to prepare for various scenarios.
As stated, he delegated injuries to Tom Moore but he just can’t help himself playing this game. Again that a LOL joking remark not a critical comment.

Agree with both, a high ankle sprain is not a one week turnaround injury. And Stewart is just exhibit A in Hurley’s injury non transparency.
Genuine question, do we know it’s a high ankle sprain? I think the one reporter used that language but others have not and I don’t believe Hurley has confirmed this. Possible I missed it though

Fair point, my bad chief

This is the key question. For NFL players, a high ankle sprain is usually a 6-week recovery. Lower ankle sprain can be 1-2 weeks depending on swelling. We haven't seen him in a boot so I'm hopeful this is a grade 1 lower ankle sprain and he'll suit up tonight. Any video of him running? I've just seen him taking stationary jump shots...

stationary jump shots and landing on one leg

Things are going great I see
Yeah, not looking great. Are limited minutes 60% better than sitting him, hoping for the best, no aggravating and having him ready for S16 if we get there?

Malachi needs to step up.

I did yesterday specifically for the UCLA game with Borges’s tweet about both players being questionable for the game. It got deleted for some reason.
So the thread just showed up this morning even though I posted it just before 5:00 pm yesterday. Not sure what happened. Can we lock this thread?

You getting post jealous?

No. But it makes no sense to post injury updates in a thread about the Furman game that happened 2 days ago. You don't agree?
At this point all you can do is consider it mojo.

I read the high ankle strain report, but with Hurley and injuries anything is possible for reasons stated. I had assumed the reporter had gotten it from Tom Moore but now that Hurley is still communicating injury narratives - I have zero clue.
Again, this is not a criticism of him. He just enjoys doing it too much and must think it has value to do it.

If he had a high ankle sprain he would’ve been in a boot at least initially.

It's bizarre the things Hurley says about injuries and the training staff.
And that Tom Moore was the injury communicator. Maybe in theory but Hurley being Hurley it’s just too great a temptation for him.
