A really good player who faced some bumps in the roads and lost some air pressure
Looks like he's filling it back up a little at a time
I wish him the best

Nice to see, you can thank Mark Cuban for getting him the help that was desperately needed for Delonte. Hope he overcomes his issues, mental illness is a very serious problem in this world.

Especially an illness like bipolar disorder where you have to stay on your meds. So many think they have it under control and do not realize the meds are what is doing that for them so they stop taking them. Couple that with substance abuse and you have a ticking time bomb.

What a turnaround. I hope he can maintain it. The videos of him on the street were scary and heartbreaking.

People don’t understand that one part of mental illness is that it makes them think they’re ok & don’t need the meds anymore. I have a relative with mental issues and his doctor explained it to us that way. It’s literally an ongoing battle keeping them on their meds, especially when their disease is telling them to dump it.

Good to hear.

Former Celtics guard Delonte West, who has dealt with mental-health struggles and substance-abuse issues over the years, appears to be working toward a basketball comeback.

According to TMZ Sports, West has been training every day in Maryland with the hopes of finding a spot in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league. He’s also reportedly helped mentor kids at the Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy in Gaithersburg.
