The next six games for the Red Sox all on the road against the elite of the American League could determine if they are buyers or sellers in the trade market. IMO the answer is obvious. They are not a playoff team and need to be focused on next year. I would not trade Dustin Pedroia, Adrian Gonzalez, Felix Dubront, David Ortiz, Will Middlebrooks or Clay Buchholtz; but everyone else is fair game. There are several that will be difficult to move because of their large salaries and/or poor performance. Starting pitching was the issue coming into the season and if anything, it has gotten worse.
If I were calling the shots I would move Larvarnway, Iglesias, Kalish and Linares up to see what they could do.
