That's the ticket. When they couldn't put a shot into the ocean......defense keeps them in the game.
UConn's defense will be the difference against ND, though it would be nice if their shooting improves.

Notre Dame played without facing any kind of real defense tonight. That will not be the case on Tuesday. While sometimes the shots don't fall, the defense is always there.

They need to play offense for the full 40 minutes too. ND is not BYU, or A&M, or even Stanford. They can score in a hurry and they don't let up. Get down to ND or trail for as long as we did tonight, and the outcome will not be a good one. UConn is due to have a hot shooting night, and Tuesday would be a good time for that. Take the wind out of ND's sails early like they did to Louisville last year.
