Connecticut's defense dominated the game, holding UMass to just 59 yards of offense and limiting the Minutemen to three first downs. UMass did not have an offensive snap in UConn territory.

Even against an FCS opponent (which UMass isn't), this would be insane. 59 years of offense? 3 first downs?

Not gonna lie -- I had high hopes for the defense, but that was a beating.

the field position 2night was phenomenal. a big part of that was not taking the sacks we took last year.

The D was a thing of beauty to watch tonight. With a much stiffer test coming next week, hopefully they'll be just as crisp and ready to go.
