Deep breaths

We shall be fine…this too shall pass.

Center position of Tarris/Eric was good enough with 20 pts, 13 rebounds in 40 min combined.

Shooting guards Solo and Braylon 17 pts, 3-17 on 3 in 58 minutes combined hopefully was a season low.

Alex with 2 pts 8 rebounds in 40 min is shades if last year slump but rare this year so hopefully the worst we shall see

If you told me we would out rebound by 15 shoot 94% free throws and be called for 3 more fouls and no one on Marquette would hit more than 2 3s it would sound like we crushed them. Weird and without the double Ts at the end would be a 2 pt loss as we shot 36% overall and 13% from 3 so the future is bright.

Make total sense. Many here have UConn losing the first weekend without even seeing the bracket. Peak boneyard.
And others have UConn winning it all without even seeing the bracket and despite the team looking like s^^^ in a few of our recent games.

If the tourney plays out anything like the season has played out we'll play the 15 seed close for a half, then pull away in the second. Then we'll get up for the 7 seed and figure out a way to win. Then we either fart out in the S16, or win that one and unable to sustain playing well two games in a row and and lose in the Elite 8. I'm hoping for the latter.

I agree with the Deep Breath but would also like to suggest Deep Thoughts.

Don't be demoralized. The only loss that matters is the last one of the season and I don't plan on having one of those.
This is true - nothing in the BE matters and will be made up for with a run in the tourney. I guess it's just about whether this team can pull together the consistent grit to make that run.

.-.
The optimistic take on this team is that our chances of winning the championship are no lower than we thought they were a few weeks/months ago.

Or, at least, our chances of winning the championship conditional upon making the second weekend are just as good.

It's just that we've also shown that we're capable of losing to anybody too.

I missed the game and I refuse to read all 23 pages of the nonsense post partum but it sounds like the basic gist is:

1) We're firing Hurley
2) We're abandoning the season and forfeiting the rest of the games based on the we-give-up rule
3) We're leaving the Big East and possibly joining the MAAC
I didn’t read your post but it sounds like the basic gist is:

1) You felt like posting on what you think might have been said
2) You’ve offered to buy all the Boneyarders drinks if UConn wins it all.

I like that you still put a number 6. Respect. We've got a shot to get number 7. That's all you can really hope for.

For your viewing pleasure.

Putting those together was great. Short, long we missed them like I’ve never seen. Many open and lightly contested. What can one say?

.-.
Syracuse, Pitt, Notre Dame and BC are 14, 15, 16 and 17 seeds in the ACC tournament out of 18.

That's gotta make everybody here feel a little better.

14, 15,16 and 17th places in the final standings. I guess that only the top 15 play in the tournament.
