Maybe we can bring some attention to a few buried, beautiful, gems from over the years....maybe decades?

I'll kick it off with this one from Dire Straits:


third best selling british album of all time. i think 9 times platinum. recorded on a caribbean island I think Monserat. love this whole Album ,its one of the ones you listen too from start to finish. I us to cycle to this all the time and ride along the shoreline in the milford area.

This is Mike Greene - a former president/CEO of National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Back in the early 70's he had a group, The Mike Greene Band. They put out a couple albums, and this cut from one of them - Pale Pale Moon, is a nicely soft & hypnotic instrumental:
