December schedule set. | The Boneyard

December schedule set.

With these covid rates I'm seeing in CT (and elsewhere), and no signs of slowing down, it will be a miracle if we play all 5.

Anything less than 4-1 here and I'll be pretty upset.

SJU- W
Gtown- W
PC- L
Creighton- L
Depaul- W

wont be playing their best in december with a young team and after only a couple of OOC games. will get PC at home the second time around.

Nice I respect that, I was thinking the same for PC and UConn. I don't know if you know about Mike Anderson and that St John's pressure, kind of like the old VCU and West Virginia teams. Be prepared they will get TOs, I think cole could handle it.

UConn is PC's super bowl. But Covid will wipe out any home court advantage for the Huskies and Hurley will be motiviated back in Rhode Island. Huskies win.

Gaffney certainly can

Here's the schedule along with each team's preseason rank according to Three Man Weave:

12/1 - USC (#7 P12) / BYU (#2 WCC) / Vandy (#14 SEC)
12/3 - USC (#7 P12) / BYU (#2 WCC) / Vandy (#14 SEC)
12/5 - NC State (#10 ACC)
12/11 - St. John’s (#9)
12/13 - Geogetown (#10)
12/17 - Providence (#3)
12/20 - Creighton (#2)
12/23 - DePaul (#11)

If we miss out on playing Vanderbilt, that's a heck of a December schedule with quality opponents each night.

Love being in a conference where I don't underestimate any team one bit.

For comparison, last year's December schedule:

Maine, Iona, Indiana, Saint Peter's, New Hampshire, NJIT

If there was no COVID this years December schedule would be closer to last years. It has zero to do with league affiliation.

Is the plan to play any in state games against Sacred Heart, CCSU, Yale, etc in late November? Would be nice to get a tune up game or 2 in.

Meh, worst team out of the three but it increases the odds of being “champions”.

My wild guess is because college football season is later in the year than normal that CBB gets pushed to Sunday until January
