Anybody watching this guy dissect Arkansas’s defense? Holy crap, him and AK on the same court would be ridiculous, unstoppable! How the hell was he allowed to leave the state?!?

Yeah

I'm like 60% sure he plays for Michigan.

When one gets to the age where one isn't sure if something is deja vu or onset Alzheimer's, reading a thread like this isn't as funny as it should be.

Sure it is.

Wolf plays for Michigan

What I think about December?

Dom Perno teams were usually ranked

Dook, KU, Gonzaga and UK are usually penciled in for the FF

BC won a national title when they were ranked number one (miss those ESPN boards)

Our 01/02 team was a dumpster fire after getting blown out at home by St Bonaventure. Came within 30 seconds of the FF

Our 03/04 team wasn't athletic enough after getting blown out by GA Tech (I know the game was played in Nov), Meka was too fragile and Jimmy was the uncoach of the year (think that was Doug-Gott-Nothing)

Jimmy's teams couldn't run any offense

So much more, I'm just in a hurry

Allow me to paraphrase the legendary Al McGuire. "The best thing about December, is it becomes January"

Why didn’t we pursue Danny Wolf again?
Probably because he went into the portal with a do not contact tag, meaning he already knew where he was going

Colorado avoids another loss. If they beat Bellarmine, we’re basically guaranteed for that loss to be only Q2

Nebraska ran over IU in Lincoln
Woodson better start winning very soon in Bloomington.

Our old pal ‘glu playing well for the Spiders

How odd considering how poor (relatively) he was at defense when he arrived on campus at UConn. Have to think two years of going against UConn's guys in practice may have helped him there.

Wow. Agree, thought defense was what would keep him off court.

Absolutely bizarre game to watch. Indiana chucked up 35 3’s, a lot of which were bad shots, and made just over 20% of them. It’s like someone finally got to Woodson and explained to him the value of 3 pointers but did not explain that you actually have to be competent at shooting to get the value out of it.

Just for reference, they are 326th in 3 PT attempts per game at just over half what they took yesterday (18.6).

Woodson truly is an atrocious coach. With the resources and name that school has, they should be so much better than they are.

The most shocking thing is IU playing in the CFP....and the hoop team is atrocious.
I knew they wouldn't be able to get 5 players in transfer portal to play as one unit.
McNeeley definitely made the correct move to Uconn

Woodson is one of the more obviously stupid hires by a major program that I can remember. When has a mediocre, over-the-hill former NBA Head Coach been successful at a major college program as a first time college coach? I could see an A10 or MWC program hiring him, or even a low level major like Minnesota or Providence, but Indiana? How did they think this was going to turn out?
