Snow totals as of this morning are way less according to the national weather service and local CT news than what people are posting online and in this thread. Highest total in CT is Winsted with 18.7 inches, Storrs 13.8 inches. Highest in Rockland County is New City with 17.6 inches. Highest in NJ is a couple of towns in Sussex County with 17 inches.

Reporting from slightly overcast but reasonably warm fla....it's not bad down here. Though we do head north to escape the summers. Putting the snowblower for sale online was therapeutic. Here in suburban Boston it's hard to measure because it's so light there's a lot of drifting. It was somewhere between 13-18". I didn't enjoy clearing the driveway, even with a snowblower.
I keep saying this is my last winter, really need to make that reality. I'm done with this nonsense.
Check the time when those figures were reported. I saw 13.8 in Storrs yesterday long before the snow wound down.Snow totals as of this morning are way less according to the national weather service and local CT news than what people are posting online and in this thread. I got 2 inches more than the highest snow total post on here even if the highest total is yours, so...I got one inch more than the highest total posted on here even if the post is after mine.
I win
I’m calling BS on thatI was just going off what the weather app on my phone says

Though apparently everyone is complaining that Apple is way off with their estimates
Yea I guess I’ll believe the NWS and Scot Haney who slept in a studio over myself…who actually went outside, cleared snow, and while doing so, measured with a yardstick in multiple spots.Snow totals as of this morning are way less according to the national weather service and local CT news than what people are posting online and in this thread. Definitely conflicting forecasts. Weather.com is saying snow showers up to 1" while Apple is saying 8" or so in NJ, Accuweather saying "chance of snow" (35%) but they have a story saying it could move offshore. Hoping Apple is wrong.Don’t look now but we’re gonna be doing the same thing next weekend
I know it's old but.... you know why the call them weathermen?? Cuz they don't whether it's gonna rain or whether it's gonna snow. 🙃Definitely conflicting forecasts.
