I am a rabid UCONN fan and post on the-boneyard frequently. My question is it now appropriate to use the acronym-ish "UConn" or because of our recent rebranding "UCONN". This causes me concern because I don't want to be accused of not being 100% committed to the brand.

I'm pretty sure that either are acceptable in type but when used as a logo, it's UCONN.

I say either works..just by being here and having season football tickets proves you are behind the brand!

Which ever way gets the craziest amount of overreactive posts.

"what the flippity-flip-flip is wrong with you! why post here if you hate the school so much that you can't get the name right!!!"

Just don't let me see you write the word "Huskie" or my eyes, ears, and multiple orifices will bleed and I will make you clean in up. I don't know who started it, but "Husky" is singular and "Huskies" is plural. I will be a grammar Nazi about this because it is clearly wrong. UConn or UCONN are all about how intense a fan is, but I won't knock points off.

Both are acceptable, what is not is the Washington Post version: U-Conn
