I was scared to open the thread

Me too! I thought he was going to declare!

Congrats to DeAndre! He really did improve his game. I expect Big Things from him next season. He really did improve by leaps & bounds!

Loto pick next year, if he plays like he did at the end of the season. Congrats deandre keep doing what you do!

Not that I don't hope for DD to be a lottery pick, but you'd have to be psycho to think that he would be in that position in next year's class. It's so top heavy that DD would have to put up something like 18ppg/8boards/50% from the field, not to mention putting on another 15-20 pounds to make it there. Not going to happen if Bazz/Boat are still on the team

The best thing that can happen to DD is to have Bazz stay at UCONN. At the end of the year UCONN offense was keyed by DD and Bazz in the pick and roll, pick and pop or pick and slide with DD the main scoring option off the pick play. You never saw DD and Boat run the pick plays, always with Bazz. I believe DD scoring will increase to 18 pts next year if Bazz stays.

I do believe he will do all those things. Maybe not 50% but it's still possible. Plus we have no idea right now what next years draft will look like for sure.

He ended the season on a torrid pace, hell have alot of possessions to get his. If anything I expect boats scoring to go down, while increasing efficiency/assists. The idea that he needs to add some crazy amount of weight is overrated. He's weighs around the same as otto porter, a lotto pick.

Often times it seemed that Napier scored a lot because he had to. He'd often go the first half with 0 points on 2 shots. But in close games, with our thin front court and sometimes scoring challenged team, Shabazz had to go on a tear. Point is I think Napier will get his points, but I would think he'd be averaging closer to 10 PPG next year with Calhoun and Daniels averaging in the 15-20 PPG range each.

Last 4 games...

Georgetown: 25 pts, 10 reb, 4 blk
Cincinnati: 18 pts, 8 reb, 3 blk
South Florida: 23 pts, 10 reb, 3 blk
Providence: 18 pts, 8 reb, 3 blk

Hey, I hope he gets that too. As long as Shabazz is our point guard then I don't think he's going to get 18/8/50%. Guess we'll have to revisit this thread at the end of next season.

Only thing that helps is he's playing in a league that allows him to expose mismatches more often. Definitely possible.

Fair enough. He did play 49, 39, 39, and 45 minutes in those games. Not realistic over the course of an entire season.

16-18 points and 7-8 rebounds is definitely possible. He needs to lift and eat with the football team instead of the basketball team.

DD will be a nightmare matchup for most PF next year. Far too quick and able to finish with confidence at the rim. And if they play off him, he will be a 40%+ three point shooter.

Unlikely that he puts on 15 lbs....he has the ectomorph body type...but 3-5 lbs heavier and incrementally stronger is likely.

Shabazz averaging around only 10? I can't see that happening at all, I wouldn't be surprised if he took a slight dip and his assists went up but not that low.

Napier I'm hoping works on his body/athleticism this summer, similar to what Damian Lillard did. Not saying catching lobs , just durability wise.
