DD's Offensive game

DD was beautiful last night. That was the kind of game we were visualizing pre-season based on his strong finish last year, but better. I haven't been the biggest fan of his shooting 3's, but last night changed my mind. Not just because he made 'em, but the way his attempts came within the offense. He set picks that had the announcers praising them out loud. I loved his team ball. One thing I would like to see though, is more of those mid-range jumpers. He is money on those shots, especially from the baseline.

Niels is 22-39 overall.

If Daniels could erase that start he would place second in the nation by 3pt percentage, pushing Niels to third. As it stands he's 34th in the nation.

Napier is at 43% 27/63
Boatright is at 41% 19/46
Kromah is at 40% at 11/27

Best shooting team ever at UConn? 8th in the nation at 41.3% from 3.

I guess Daniels got away from Ollie this summer also, is he secretly German?

Still laughing several minutes later to that German reference. Of course I'm glad the opportunity has arisen for a few friendly put downs of those fellow Boneyarders who felt the need to torch the team when they were struggling.
