He said that everything that he has seen from HCRE has measured up to any expectations that he had. As far as results on the field, he understands that there is some rebuilding to be done.
Regarding the Fenway Game, he said that Sam Kennedy from Fenway reached out to him as soon as he got here. He said that when he took the UConn job, he did not understand the New England aspect of the job and the relationship that UConn has with the region, not just Connecticut. He said that there was a bump in recruiting after the announcement of the game. He said that the AAC has shown that it can compete with the P5 conferences.
