No doubt but amazingly May is making it work somehow with Wolf not being a good defender, but as others have said nice footwork makes up for some. And Goldin can only guard on the interior as well so he’s mixing up with zone as well. Mismatches in each end no doubt both positive and negative but they’re finding ways. I am sure it may catch up to them as the season moves forward will be interesting.

In addition to UConn, I occasionally follow local college b-ball teams in CT. Last year was watching Yale and watched this kid play. Not going to say he's Donovan Clingan but he had similar Clingan attributes. Being 7-0 feet tall, 250 pounds, could move well, pass well, rim protect. Had some characteristics I liked and with Donovan leaving thought Hurley would for sure take a look at this kid as a possible replacement especially being so local going to school in CT. Obviously he didn't and this kid ended up at Michigan. I watched him last night dominate some of that game against Wisconsin and remember him from his time when he was at Yale. Anyone know if Hurley ever looked at this kid?
Hurley didn't look at Wolf because Wolf made it very clear that Michigan was his dream school. IIRC, Wolf's crew put out a referendum telling other teams to not contact him since Michigan was his only interested school.

So, best thing to do moving forward is just to enjoy him at Michigan. He's a wonderful player: amazing skill, super gritty/passionate and now part of a well-coached team now that Dusty May is there.
