Danny Wolf: Yale to Michigan

He left a team that won a game in the tournament and if he had come back would have returned a good nucleus to join a 13th place Big 10 team. Either he was a true Michigan fan or he got huge NIL.

Wasn’t he part of the cast of Party of Five with the underrated Neve Campbell

No doubt but amazingly May is making it work somehow with Wolf not being a good defender, but as others have said nice footwork makes up for some. And Goldin can only guard on the interior as well so he’s mixing up with zone as well. Mismatches in each end no doubt both positive and negative but they’re finding ways. I am sure it may catch up to them as the season moves forward will be interesting.

Not good defender? Wolf is Top 20 in America according to the Evan Miya data. Last night had 7 boards, 5 assists, 5 blocks and 20 points. Led or tied his team in assists, rebounds, blocks and still scored 20 points against a Top 25 Wisconsin team on the road. Just sayin. Doesn't sound like a bad defender to me.

Not sure how any of that points directly at defending your guy one on one but ok? Saw him last year he couldn’t guard away from the basket very well but if he improved I apologize.

He definitely went to Michigan.

Also

Tarris Reed went to Michigan.

And

Tarris Reed went to UConn.

He's at Michigan, right?

If Wolf leaves Yale for Michigan, he's an idiot.
If it turns out, his increased national exposure and upgraded competition, gets him drafted in the NBA with a decent guaranteed contract, even if in the second round, not such an idiot.

Michigan has a pretty good academic reputation too.

I liked watching Danny Wolf last year at Yale, I wonder what happened to him

Wolf is playing for Michigan

Hurley didn't look at Wolf because Wolf made it very clear that Michigan was his dream school. IIRC, Wolf's crew put out a referendum telling other teams to not contact him since Michigan was his only interested school.

So, best thing to do moving forward is just to enjoy him at Michigan. He's a wonderful player: amazing skill, super gritty/passionate and now part of a well-coached team now that Dusty May is there.

If he goes to Michigan, you mean
