who some have as a Top 5 Recruit for 2017 has home visits scheduled with Notre Dame and Duke in September. I believe Geno is also recruiting her.

Home visit with Florida on 9/21 !!!!

I don't see anyone who has her as a top 5 recruit?? The highest I see is Bluestar around 11? There's a Chasity Patterson ranked in the top 5??

Even with the Bluestar rating of 11, Danielle Patterson would not be composite top 50 player for 2017 at this point. ESPN list only Florida, ND, Louisville & Duke ( No UCONN) which is consistent with the in home visits and college visit (Florida) mentioned by Wbbfan1 and a Louisville offer which has been confirmed in previous post here. Geno definitely watched her play but is he really recruiting her and is there UCONN interest on her part?

I see THREE declarative sentences punctuated interrogatively???

It's early yet to determine whether there is a high degree of mutual interest between Patterson and Uconn. I would wait at least until after first night and the upcoming official signing date and then evaluate based on any new information.

While I would agree that it is too early to have patterson signed , I disagree that it is too early to determine mutual interest. Patterson is class of 2017, in this class UCONN has already signed one player (Espinoza-Hunter-NY) and another Megan Walker from VA has already attend a UCONN first night.

Patterson did not play AAU ball last season and thus for the non ranking and low ranking. How good is she. IMO one of the best in her class certainly at her position. NYC coaches are billing her as the top player in NYC. ND is all over her as is many other top schools. I really hope Geno makes her an offer soon I would hate to see her go elsewhere.

The issue is more 'what we know' in terms of it being early - the coaching staff may have a very good idea of 'where they stand' - but they cannot comment, and not every recruit is an open book so the hoard which represents our primary source for recruiting news is pretty mum.

There is mutual interest.

Now if things work out with 2016 Cox (the official visit on First Night at the very least lifts that one out of the long shot category) to go with Danger et al., followed by the group you cite, you've got the picture of UConn's recruiting agenda for next couple of classes.
