WBB , it does sound like Ballard was Dismissed from the team , for whatever reason. So Ballard will have to find a good landing spot to transfer to. Since player and coach could not seem to see eye to eye this is best for all parties.

Wonder if she might consider playing in Europe next year rather than a one year seat and one year run at another college? Transfer rules are such that junior transfers just don't make a lot of sense to me.
