There is no point in having the tournament if it keeps expanding. They’re going to say it’s unfair that the 77th team didn’t get in. They deserved to.

For some reason I feel this is all the talk now because the ACC has been a horrendous league as of late and that they are expanding next year.

The BE is probably pushing for this too. They stand to gain a bid frequently.

Virginia is on the bubble right now. They are a dreadful team that has no chance and nobody wants to watch in March. Expand the tournament and there will just be two days of mid-offs between poverty programs, which nobody will watch except for dimwitted ACC and Big 10 fans

For what it's worth players being compensated is a good thing - execution of it..leaves something to be desired.

Exactly. The one thing they assume is that we will love the product no matter what. Nothing ever gets better when it becomes macro. Ask any craft beer fan whose favoriter Brewery sold out, or any resident of a gentrified neighborhood. Watch out.

You did have a 16 knock off a 1. The number of D1 teams in basketball is growing. Maybe increasing to 76 is the right number.

Remember when it was positioned as being the "First Round" and then the 1 v 16, 2 v 15, and so on was the "Second Round".
