Oh geez, you have to be happily married to coach UConn? That eliminates about 80%. What are you talking about?

In regards to URI, I grew up literally next to the campus and I root for them always except when playing PC, so it's not that. He was a punk as a player and it's carried over into his coaching. He can coach though so if that's all you care about then he will do fine.

Come on this board to throw shade on the probable future coach lol. I don't care what was said nor do I care about anything you say. Go back to your board and discuss how to advance in the tournament. How many NCAA games has your head coach won? But hey at least he didn't lose his temper after a game. Thats all that matters.

Hurley is intense, you need it to be a good coach in any sport. This is also a fanbase used to Jim Calhoun. Unless you're bringing in a first-class butthead like Bobby Knight, nothing is going to bother us.

True I guess, he will certainly be a 180 from your current coach. I just don't like the guy and never have. I saw his team play against Ohio State at Mohegan Sun and he was an embarrassment on the sidelines. But to each their own.

Either of you could be entirely right or entirely wrong.
My feeling is that a buyout will be negotiated and what we are hearing now is all posturing. KO doesn't really want his job back nor do I believe he wants to trash recruiting. He just wants to get as much money out of his contract as possible.
UConn wants to hire his replacement and move on. Both parties will end up getting some of what they want and leave more money on the table than they prefer. Kind of like a divorce.

I asked a question, don't be so damn thin skinned, if it doesn't bother you or you don't care what he's like then just say it. It's a message board and it's a point of discussion that I asked, we can go back and forth reasonably without throwing insults.

These are all the same kinds of things people said about Calhoun. He was not well liked by fans of other teams. Still isn't. I watched URI getting screwed by the refs against Duke (not that it mattered) and was thrilled to see Hurley going ballistic on the sidelines. It's desperately needed after our last guy.

My recollection of JC that it was reserved for the players, with Hurley it's for the officials.

First off, coming over here when I'd say most of us on here are excited for Hurley you come crapping on him I let it go then you said this, "If homophobic slurs are your thing then he's your man." That's what triggered my response. It seems you only came to the board to stir some up and not have an honest discussion.
