Haven’t listened to the full pod yet but I’m a Lowe devotee with NBA talk, so I’m excited to listen to Coach!

It's almost as if he's releasing a new book soon.
Be careful that seems to be a sensitive topic. We may end up getting three threads locked today. Everyone is getting cranky around here. We need the season the start so we can start insulting each other on important topics…..not the dribble that we are currently fighting over.

My bad….I just realized that BigErn was trying to make the lockdown happen two posts in. Would that be a BY record?

Is there a BY HOF?

Listened to the interview - not much new content there. Got most of it in different ways last summer. Honestly gonna wait to buy this book as I feel like most of the content is a consolidation of what we’ve already heard.

He needs to make up for all the money he lost when he didn't take the Lakers' offer...
Andrea can still afford to catch an Uber to the Jersey Shore when she needs her Jersey fix-- Hurley household is doin' ok with cash flow

Anyone have the Uncle Cliff notes? Hoping we get to hear Dan talk some NBA.
Not a lot of stuff that was very revelatory if you've listened to some of the more in-depth interviews about his life. Nothing about next year's team. Cursory talk about some UConn NBA alums (Clingan/Castle). Apparently there's a lot in the book about the Lakers decision. He watched a bunch of UConn tournament games in Duke sections (90, 04). Crashed a security cart in college. He seems to be going back and forth on whether he wants to coach in the NBA in the future, currently thinking in his 60s after he's calmed down. Him going after refs is part of the game and maybe he's not good at working them, but it's part of his approach that has been successful for him overall.
