Some questions about the Future for Dan Hurley

1. When does he get inducted into the Hall of Fame?

I say next season, 3 titles games in 4 years the way he has done it, he has done enough

The two most dominant title runs in modern ncaa history

30-0 run

Coming back from 19 down (and Duke was at the line to make it 21)

Average regional win of 19.2 pt/game (factors in this year)

And yes, I’m in the camp that he should have 3 natties, the reffing I thought was that bad

2. How long does he stay at UConn?

If he gets the NIL support and we get into a power conference I think he goes very near 10 more years.

I look at the future of the sport and say we do need to get into a big conference, for the NIL alone. I actually prefer an ACC bid , then big 10, then Big 12 bid. I do recognize the ACC could get chewed up, I think Hurley could dominate the big 10, but realize they may not accept football but I think the geography is slightly better)

If UConn stays in the big east I think he tries the NBA in 3-5 years, what has happened to seton hall in NIL concerns me with rapidly inflating prices. Hurley talks about how he has all the resources he needs at UConn, will that be true in 3-5 years? Not sure. But another factor if UConn stays in the big east he may very well get fed up with the sport in general. I don’t think he goes to another ncaa school.

My guess is as good as any. I think we go to the ACC in 3 years as Luke Murray steadies BC I think we can get a bid (geography would be amazing if the conference can stay together) bottom of the basketball conference is better, football would fit well I think.

Virginia, Duke, UNC, Louisville, nc state, Clemson real solid

Duke comes to Gampel, can you imagine that???

BC and Pitt, Syracuse rivals.

I would take it.
