41-36 Dallas at the Half. Mabrey hot from 3 but not much else. If you cant beat these Liberty by 20, shouldnot accept the playoff invitation even if you get in.

Plus is a Dallas win will make Washington Atlanta meaningful and I think Atlanta will not be pushovers.

New York has gone from a double-digit deficit to a 4-point lead. Arike has gone cold.

And stayed cold until the last part of the fourth quarter when she had a mini-streak to score just enough, helped by the Liberty making some odd decisions at the end of the game.

Besides Arike's usual late-game surge, Kayla Thornton had some clutch offensive rebounds and Mabrey shot over 50% from three en route to her 24 points, a season high.

I think all the tanking talk may have gotten to Hopkins. Actually made an honest effort to win this game.

Odom 10-12?
I guess she wants to come back next year.

Jones, Odom and Sabrina are probably the only ones guaranteed a slot.

You evidently mean the players who played this season.

Stokes with a shot she did not need to take. And then Arike did Arike things
The last time Stokes took a shot like that, UConn lost to Stanford and she lost her starting position. UConn went on the win one of their NC.

Mabrey kept them in the game, then Arike got hot again after being cool for 25 minutes.

I believe that Thornton had 4 O boards in Q4. I don't know if Dallas scored after every one, but as Debbie said, those were "winning plays."

At the halftime interview, Agler referred to many of those layups as "transition" baskets at halftime. One could also refer to them as breakaways: after a Dallas shot and Liberty rebound, she just took off and whomever was at the top of Dallas would just.....watch. ( -- "oh that's an opponent, cool!" The coach in me wanted to smash a clipboard.)

Odom also hit some nice baseline drives. Nice extension of her arms on those layups. Kia drove nicely from the elbow off screens, as well.
